How to win playing online bingo.

Contrary to popular belief bingo isn't necessarily a game of pure chance. It is true that things are almost all equal on the drawing of the first number but even then the laws of probability state that certain things are more likely to happen than others. As an example consider a 75 ball game, a very popular online game. Because the numbers used only go up to 7 and don't include 76 through to 80 this means that there is statistically a greater chance of drawing numbers that end in a 1, 2, 3, 4 or a 5. You don't believe me? Let's do the math.

The final number theory.

There are 8 numbers that end in the digit 1, there are 8 numbers that end in the digit 2 and so on to the number 5. However, there are only 7 numbers that end in a 0, a 6, a 7, an 8 or a 9. This means that there is a 40 in 75 chance of drawing a number ending in a 1, 2, 3, 4 or a 5 but only a 35 in 7 chance that the number drawn will end in one of the other numbers. It's true that the odds are slim but if you were given even odds on the last digit and placed your money on the 40 in 75 chance every time you would eventually make a profit.

Unfortunately, in bingo you can't bet on the outcome of the first number but many bingo sites will let you change cards that you don't like the look of. Change your cards until the play numbers on your card have different final digits or an even spread of final digits, obviously leaning towards the numbers 1 to 5. This will give you a slight statistical edge, and don't worry because the longer the game goes on without their being a winner the greater chance you have of winning; don't forget the more numbers drawn the closer the outcome gets to the statistical average and on the other hand. Picking a card based on the end digit lends itself very well to online bingo where a majority of games end in ten to 12 calls.

Blackout game theory.

Because we know that there is an even chance of drawing odd number to even numbers and high numbers to low numbers we should change our cards to ones where the play numbers have the same amount of even and odd numbers and low and high numbers. If you're playing a longer game, like a full house otherwise known as a blackout, then this is the way to pick your card because the small number of possibilities means that the more balls that come out the closer the spread will be to the average.

Conclusion.

Obviously taking all these factors into consideration means that we have as much chance of picking the right card as we do of winning with the first card but if you get a card that has 8 play numbers and 4 of them end in the same digit you should swap it, if all 8 or 7 of the 8 are odd numbers you should change it.
